1. To promote empowerment and development of women including provision of skill development programs for women in literacy, health and nutrition, and livelihood interventions 2. To promote traditional & contemporary art, knowledge and skills 3. To promote and facilitate gender and climate change issues etc. Setting up of the proposed Women Resource Centre at Dimapur would help to promote women empowerment, since Dimapur is the commercial hub of the State. The centre will also facilitate and provide platform for scholastic and non scholastic pursuit on women empowerment and development. Components of the project would also include museum, cafeteria, emporium/shops, and guestrooms for outstation visitors.
