Project Details
Agriculture remains an important sector for livelihood and economic growth despite its declining share in the economy. Role of hills in providing life sustaining water and environmental services, hill agriculture has started receiving renewed attention. Growth potential of hill agriculture has remained under-exploited due to undulating topography, lack of low cost technologies, poor marketing and processing infrastructure.

To effectively conserve rain water in-situ and enhance water use efficiency 4. To generate all year round emplopyment and continuous flow of higher income for the farming families
