Project Details
Unemployment is a major concern for the State. Absence of Industry in the State and stagnation of jobs in the Government sector has limited the scope of employment for the youths in the State. The only foreseeable solution for employment generation is to promote entrepreneurship and sustainable enterprise development by building the capacity of the youths towards innovative entrepreneurship. Augmenting the purpose of the Entrepreneurship Development Centre’s established under the State Startup Policy initiative will further boost the outcome of the Startup Policy.

Proposed Activities
1. Institutionalize innovation and entrepreneurship in schools and colleges by providing facilitating environment and support mechanism whereby the students or the youths are encouraged and their capacity build for undertaking innovative and sustainable entreprise 2. Facilitate new notions of learning and teaching process which will bring wider innovation to the school environment 3. Enable successfully pilot innovative projects of the students and help them scale- up their start-ups.*A work shed to house the machine tools and equipment shall be constructed at the vicinity of the school/college where the Entrepreneurship Development centre is located* Basic Machine tools and Equipment required to help the student build product prototypes, test and measure shall be installed in the Mini Fab lab
