The state has huge population dependent on agriculture and its products, this proposal proposes to provide Warehouse facility for a multi-product, multi-temperature warehouse facility in the District Headquarters of Nagaland. This proposal envisages to provide facility in the field of safe storage of farm produce, processed farm produce, consumer articles and agricultural inputs by making standard warehouse with all type of required safety measures.

1. Creation of scientific storage capacity with allied facilities in rural areas to meet the requirements of farmers for storing farm produce,processed farm produce, consumer articles and agricultural inputs 2. Promotion of grading,standardization and quality control of agricultural produce to improve their marketability.3. Strengthening agricultural marketing infrastructure in the state 4. Minimize post-harvest losses.
