Project Details
The current piggery outreach is large in terms of number of pig rearing household. The intervention so far at the household level has been on a small scale with 1 piglet per household. With 1 piglet only household is not able to significantly improve their income from piggery. Therefore, the first priority of the project is to further strengthen the backward and forward linkages by strengthening the Pig Producers Group and support the members in establishing the viable and profitable institutional structure that will promote the interest of its members.
