Project Details
So far bricks for construction are manufactured only in Dimapur and transported to other districts for construction. The four far flung district of Nagaland namely., Kiphire, Zunheboto, Phek and Tuensang Districts are facing immense hardship in transporting bricks to their district. For eg., the landed cost of bricks at Kiphire is currently 300% higher than at Dimapur even though Kiphire is blessed with abundant mineral resources. The Corporation plans to set up one block making plan in the four districts to carter to the needs of the people by utilizing the available mineral resources available plentifully within their respective district.
