Project Details
The State does not have any solar power plant nor any notable Solar generation at present. The Government of India (Gol) has mandated that all State/Entity has to produce/procure certain percentage of Energy consumed from Renewable energy sources, this is called Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO). Under this, there are subgroups of obligation which consists of Solar RPO, Non-Solar RPO and Hydro Purchase Obligation (HPO). Since the State has no solar power plants it has nil Solar generation and hence is unable to meet the Solar Renewable Purchase Obligation.
