Project Details
At present, There are 16 Districts with a population of about 5,89,654 and 1,56,524 Household (as per 2011 census) generates a total of approximately 299.67 TPD of waste, As per Solid Waste Management Rules 2016, all ULBs are to manage their waste in their respective jurisdiction according to the rules including collection, transportation, treatment and disposal of municipal waste. Also all waste collected are to be transported to the designated dumping site in a closed container. For efficient waste management, collection, transportation and disposal of waste requires significant investment in waste management. Most of the ULBs do not have the required infrastructure or machineries and equipment for collection, transportation of municipal waste to the designated location.
