Project Details
Nagaland has a total of 29631 disabled persons. Providing free ramps accessible to all offices of the Social Welfare Department is a challenging task due to fund constraint. Inaccessible building entrances, lack of proper barrier free ramps and accessible wheel chairs to all the office rooms adds to the woes of disabled persons. The Department of Social Welfare being the nodal Department to fulfill India’s vision of accessible India campaign to serve the differently-able community of the country is compelled to seek corporates to fulfill this dream.
