Nihokhu EAC administrative HQ is one of the oldest administrative establishment which was established even before the creation of Dimapur district. The administrative HQ was under Kohima administration. Presently there are 11 villages and the sub division has lots of potential for economic growth due to its strategic location bordering Kohima, Dimapur and Chumukedima district. The marketing shed at Nihokhu will boost the income of the farmers where 90% of the population are rural farmers and rely on day to day sale of their agricultural produce.
