Project Details

Niuland District which is the 14th district of Nagaland covers more than 100 villages. The majority of the population are farmers and their primary sources of income are through agriculture produce which is at the mercy of nature. Therefore, in order to provide and assure sustainable income, the women folks can be trained in weaving, knitting, tailoring, basket making, etc This will not only reduce their dependency on agriculture and increase their income but also instill the idea of self-reliance without having to leave their mercy at the fate of Nature.
