The Niuland Town Council is headed by the Ex Officio Administrator, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Niuland. The Niuland Town Council has been making efforts to ensure proper and segregated disposal of wastes. In addition to identification of dumping site, the NTC has ensured proper distribution of waste bins by identifying key places as well as door to door distribution. However, there is further need to enhance waste collection from household and proper disposal of the same. Provision of sanitation trucks is therefore required to ensure door to door collection.
