Project Details
Tseminyu district at present has 3 health centres and 10 sub-centres. It has no hospital, government or private. The healthcare facilities in these centres are very rudimentary with even basic equipment like X-ray machine absent or non-functional. Many patients, particularly those from the low-income section and rural areas, find it difficult to travel to hospitals beyond the district to avail even such basic healthcare facilities as X-ray examination. This not only has cost and time implications for the patients but also carries the risk of making the optimal functionality of the health centres redundant and minimal. With no other source of fund available for provisioning the same, CSR route offers the most feasible option. Hence, the need of the project through CSR funding.

Proposed Activities
• To procure or receive through CSR initiative 3 (Three) units of portable digital X-Ray machines and install it in CHC Tseminyu, PHC Chunlikha, and PHC Tesophenyu – the three Health Centres in the district.
• To enhance and widen healthcare capacities of the existing health centres in the district and, by extension, the healthcare access of the general patients to the Centres.
