They include maize, kholar (kidney beans) millets, colocasia (taro), oranges and vegetables like cabbage etc. Apple also thrives well in the Eastern region of the sub division in villages like Thanamir, Fakim, Khongsa town. The people are skilled craftsmen. They are involved in producing quality wood carving of human caricature, furniture, decorative items, and utensils and so on. Bamboo art and basketry is very popular. With demands everywhere, these have wide scope for bulk production and sale.The area has the potential to produce agricultural products on a larger commercial scale. There is no proper marketing shed for selling the agricultural produce in the area.
