Amahator Town is Administrative HQ of 8 villages. At present the PHC is functioning at minimum strength due to infrastructure constrain. The region registers low institutional delivery due to almost zero facility for neonatal care. In total there are only three rooms with no separate room for institutional delivery. Expansion PHC rooms will increase number of bed and separate room for delivery. This will enhance health care services and reduce heavy dependence on district hospital and increase accessibility.
