Unemployment is the biggest problem of Nagaland. Which keeps the vibrant population of Nagaland away from the work force and market? This adds to several social vices be it frustration, drug abuse, vandalism, juvenile behavior or at times even worse.Further, the government has been the largest employer of youth. For any place to prosper growth of private enterprise is most essential. Therefore Government of India and Nagaland and the MNCs must go all out to provide gainful and sustainable self employment opportunities to youth.Nagaland is an agricultural state and is blessed with productive land and hardworking people. Therefore the agricultural bounties are endless.The logical next step for any agriculture based community and market is the food processing industry which increases the incomes of farmers and the entrepreneurs. This project will not only provide those but has a potential to put Nagaland in the map of India and can integrate the exotic natural produce of Nagaland with the larger populace of the country.
