Cleanliness is next to Godliness. Clean environment is a basic right for a dignified life. The Government of India lately has been focusing its resources and energies for the same. Waste management is a part of Swach Bharat mission. We at Chumoukedima Endeavour to keep our villages as clean as or cleaner than the urban areas and have a vision to make our villages the cleanest in India. Therefore we have devised a pilot project with handful of villages to that effect.
Unlike urban settlements, villages do not have access to proper sanitation services nor do they have any waste management systems in place. Provision of Sanitation Trucks will encourage villages to adopt sustainable practices in waste management.
