Dimapur Government College requires at least 2 (two) additional buses at the earliest, only 25-seater is in good condition while the old 32-seater is over 22 years old. It may also be noted that the present enrolment of students in the College during the odd semester is 1490 and it is a known fact that most of the students come from economically weaker section of the society, who face acute problems of availing other private means of transport. The enrolment records also shows that enrolment has been increasing every year with progressive demand for admission to the College.
