In view of the depleting ground water resources, there is an urgent need to explore sustainable means of water conservation and utilization. Since rainwater is the best source for water, a project to harvest rainwater is proposed. The Deputy Commissioner office, Dimapur is a public office catering to thousands of people on a daily basis. In addition, there is a total strength of 120 employees who are all dependent on the sole bore well in the office premises for their water related requirements.
