Poor infrastructure is key obstacle to development in Tuensang District with lack of proper infrastructure such as road, drainage, retaining wall, housing and accommodation etc. Providing adequate infrastructure like drainage, road and walls is yet to be achieved. There is a need for effective longer term and integrated infrastructure planning and construction in the district.Sakhi One Stop Centre is a centrally sponsored women-centric scheme which focuses on providing integrated support and assistance under one roof to women affected by violence, both in private and public spaces in phased manner. It is located behind District Hospital, Tuensang. It got its new office building inaugurated in the month of February 2022. Besides the building, there is also a requirement to provide retaining wall and proper drainage system in the periphery of the building to prevent it from soil erosion or potential flooding of the premises.The project is proposed on the gap analysis to understand and evaluate the developmental progress in the district. The purpose of the project is to initiate infrastructural development and to construct retaining wall and drainage at district hospital Tuensang, which will help to improve basic development in the district. This proposal will provide diagnostic and management in the field of basic infrastructural development.
