Project Details
The district is facing poor electric supply, which effect the daily life of the people. Poor infrastructure is key obstacle to development in Tuensang District with lack of proper infrastructure such as road, electricity, housing and accommodation etc. Providing adequate infrastructure like electric power supply is yet to be achieved. There is a need for effective longer term and integrated infrastructure planning and augmentation in the district.The existing 100 KVA transformer at the sub-station inside the District Hospital campus which provides electricity to the District Hospital and staff quarters in the periphery is already overloaded. And with the recent installation of large power consuming machines, namely 500 Liters Oxygen Generation Plant, BSL-2 Lab, Digital X-Ray and others, the existing facility has become even more grossly inadequate to meet the daily power requirement of the District Hospital.The project is proposed on the basic needy of electric supply at district hospital and to provide efficient electric energy through the procurement of transformer as medical equipments and machines need good power supply. The purpose of the project will help to improve basic development in the district. This proposal will provide diagnostic and management in the field of basic infrastructural development and improve adequate power supply in the district.
