Proposed Activities
At present, college has limited research facility under the Atmospheric Science Research centre (ASRC), the centre promotes interdisciplinary research along with the core research in Atmospheric Science (Meteorology) by using the ground and satellite observations along with the numerical weather prediction.. In view of the fact that, in emerging scenario, research will be an integral part of the curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate level, there is an urgent need to develop multidisciplinary research facility for the student’s as well teachers. It is proposed to have an extended multidisciplinary research facility in the College the proposed upgraded research facility will also work as incubation centre for potential researchers in the different colleges and universities in the states and northeastern region.
