Proposed Activities
As per the guidelines of NEP-2022, Vocational education will be integrated into higher educational institutions in a phased manner over the next decade. In the present curriculum, at undergraduate level, the component of vocational training and skill enhancement is minimal, which results in a graduate without any meaningful skills. The vocational and skill training is key to "Aatmanirbhar Bharat"' In order to have a vocational and skill training, particularly at undergraduate level along with the core curriculum, it is proposed to have a workshop structure with the following facility 1. Lathe machine 2. Sheet Metal Design 3. Welding 4.Glass blowing 5. Carpentry 6. Housing Electrification 7. Electronics repairing 8. Waste Paper Recycling Vocational training through these facilities will empower the students to create the job opportunities for themselves and most importantly for others also.
