Project Details
Electrification of non-traditional villages, such as settled farming areas are not covered under any government scheme. With the slow change of shifting cultivation practices to settled farming in the hilly areas, there is large demand for electrification of such areas. In tandem with electrification of such areas, this project proposes to install solar mini-grids in the farms to reduce the cost of energy and make the operation of the farms more sustainable.

1. Project shall provide grid power supply along with solar mini-grids to cluster of settled farming areas-such as rubber processing ,cash crop collection & marketting centres, pisciculture and the like 2. This project would encourage rural population to move away from shifting cultivation system 3. project shall supplement the grid power supply reduce the cost of energy and make the operation of the farms more sustainable.
