When we talk about investment, we normally understand it as investments in the Industrial Sector. However, investment expands into all sectors like Agriculture and Allied, Animal Husbandry, Health and Wellness, Education, Hospitality, Entertainment etc. As such, we at the IDAN align our activities by targeting investors to come into any of these sectors which will ultimately improve the quality of life of the people and add to the State’s economy.

Even with improving services and amenities, there is still a long way to go before the State is fulfilled in its requirement of quality educational institutes and services. There is a flurry of parents and students during the beginning of the new academic year who are required to head towards other parts of the country, and even abroad seeking best opportunities and admissions into institutes of repute for further studies.

The IDAN in one of the first kind of initiative, is attempting to make a consolidated attempted to bring a gamut of prestigious educational institutes and educationists to the State for the “1^st Nagaland Edu Connect- Investment for the Future” to be held on 10^th and 11^th May 2022 at the Capital Convention Centre, Kohima. Over 40 institutes and thousands of students and teachers are expected to participate in the event.

Therefore the main thrust of this event is four fold.

ü    To bring in potential investors who can set up institutes of Higher Education in the State which will benefit the future generations.

ü    The institutes will set up stalls to showcase the facilities available in their institutions so that students and parents can interact and choose the institutes.

ü    Offers of different types of scholarships and availing of bank loans through the institutes CSR wing will be highlighted.

ü    Option on spot admission depending upon eligibility.
