In partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) and Dhriiti - The Courage Within.

GIZ, Dhriiti-The Courage Within and the IDAN signed a tripartite MoU on 10th September 2021 that will promote strengthening and development of women entrepreneurship ecosystem in Nagaland. This partnership is an initiative to create an enabling ecosystem for Nagaland women entrepreneurs to thrive.

This initiative is a part of an ongoing project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, ‘Economic Empowerment of Women Entrepreneurs and Start-ups by Women’ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and in partnership with the Indian Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSDE), to promote aspiring and existing women entrepreneurs in India. Under the name of ‘Her&Now’, the project aims to contribute to a more enabling environment for women-led enterprises in India.

Evidence based policy consultations on enabling women entrepreneurship are ongoing with enablers, leaders, and thinkers who can contribute towards creating a policy framework enabling hundreds of women entrepreneurs in Nagaland. Outcomes will include a Policy white-paper and creation of a Women Entrepreneurship Network.
